I've been attempting to get Automatic Text Reader to work, since I'm a web designer who would like to hear how people who use screen readers hear my pages. I've tried installing and uninstalling a number of times and have been able to get half way there, but that's about it. Found the I needed to put the Reader into the Extended mode to be able to view the controls...might want to add that to your documentation. Can't get the controls to add to the context menu no matter what I do. Lastlly, once the controls are visible, I can highlight any text and there is no sound.
Using Firefox 38 in Linux Mint. Am running AdBlock, Flashblock, Classic Theme Restorer and Menu Editor.
Thanks for your efforts. boB

Hi Bob,
as there is very little users-side interest in my add-on, I'm taking the liberty to comfortably upgrade the server's hardware with a one-week downtime. I'm taking a major change to both HW and SW, so no sound can possibly be generated during this time frame.
I'm waiting for postage of a few more components due the next week, so by around June 20 the server should be up and the add-on restored. Meanwhile you may try other speech synthesis programs available around.
