I didn't notice the add-on was periodically nonfunctional. Turns out a remote service used and required by the local TTS server was OOM-ed, thus silently preventing the add-on from working.
The OOM is resolved and more stability for the add-on is to be expected.
Still, qemu-kvm is a pain in the ass and from time to time the TTS virtual machine goes offline for no reason other than some nasty bug. Return to the good old OpenVZ planned.
For the sake of it, right in this moment I just finished checking and fixing the server, and it's active & running.
